MASTERPRIZE
Prize tournaments online and offline, in cooperation with the Russian Go Federation
I would like to express my gratitude to the tournament participants, who came from five regions of Russia, as well as to the tournament's main winner, a guest from China, Wang Xu.
The tournament was exciting and remarkable. MASTERPRIZE 1.0 was held in the modern building of Novosibirsk State University.
The handicap format let players of different levels to compete for prizes in their McMahon groups. The project aims to create conditions where players of all skill levels can win prizes, titles and money online and offline in Go.
It is safe to say that the MASTERPRIZE 1.0 tournament was a spectacular debut for the new prize project.
